This home was designed with the environment in mind. The client wanted photo-voltaic panels on the roof and battery storage for power. The hot water is pumped under the floor to create a nice warmth all year around. The home is really practical and made for a family to live and work from. The kitchen is a great size so many people can work in it, with stainless steel bench tops and gas tops. The foundations are very robust as they lost their last house in the Christchurch earthquake.
